1. Look for a suitable apartment

We offer vacant apartments on our website howoge.de, via our app “mein HOWOGE”, on the website inberlinwohnen.de or the usual apartment portals.

2. Contact us

You can send us an inquiry directly online with the apartment offer. For this we need your contact details: last name, first name and e-mail address. You register with HOWOGE - preferably via our app from the app store. You can use the app to save individual searches and manage your data and viewing appointments.

3. Receive an appointment to view the apartment you want

First, we collect all incoming housing requests. Often there are several hundred. With this great demand, not every viewing request can be met. Several interested parties are then selected via an automated random process and invited to visit.

4. Visit the apartment

If you are still interested in the apartment after the viewing, we need further information from you, e.g. on household size and household income. You can easily send this to us via the app. This data is used to automatically determine whether e.g. B. the household size matches the apartment offered and whether a WBS is available.

5. Upload documents

If all the key data is correct, we will check your information and documents such as proof of income, no rent arrears, WBS authorization. You can easily upload the documents. There are often several people interested in an apartment who equally meet all the requirements. Then we have to choose at random. Only the information from your application plays a role here.

6. Sign the rental agreement

If all the information is correct, you will receive a binding reservation and the rental agreement can be prepared. You get the apartment.

All submitted housing inquiries are evaluated according to objective criteria. Our employees have no personal influence on whether you can rent an apartment from HOWOGE or not.

We regard any offer of money or gifts as an attempt at bribery. Anyone who undertakes such a thing will be excluded from renting the apartment for one year.
