Warning notice/general information on the rental process at HOWOGE
Dear tenants,
We have received information that people in your settlement are trying to offer and rent apartments in the name of HOWOGE. In some cases, commissions are also charged for this.
Please do not respond to such attempts at fraud. Please never pay money to any intermediaries.
HOWOGE does notcharge any commission and allocates apartments exclusively according to uniform, clear standards/specifications, which you can view on our homepage:
Only HOWOGE employees are entitled to rent apartments in the portfolio. They can identify themselves, carry lists of invited interested parties with them during group visits and can provide information about the apartment on offer. Furthermore, tenants may notsimply sublet their own apartment.
If you become aware of attempts at fraud or are unsure whether HOWOGE is dealing with a legal and genuine housing offer, please contact us immediately by e-mail at kundenzentrum@howoge.deor by telephone on 030/5464-1133. We investigate any attempts at fraud and take legal action against the scammers. Thank you for your help and vigilance.
